You may need in-person care if you have

  • A need for isotretinoin (Accutane), which Qare does not prescribe
  • A sudden, severe breakout with fever

How your acne visit works

  1. Answer questions about your skin and upload a few clear photos.
  2. A board-certified clinician licensed in New Jersey and Pennsylvania reviews your case within minutes.
  3. You get a personalized plan, and any prescription goes to your pharmacy. Most treatments take 8 to 12 weeks to show full results.

Your $39 visit fee covers the clinical review. Medication costs at your pharmacy are separate.

What treatments can I get online?

Prescription creams and gels, and in some cases oral medication. Your clinician chooses based on your skin, history and goals.

Can you treat cystic acne and acne scars?

Yes. Your clinician can treat deep cystic acne and certain types of acne scarring online. Clear photos help them see what type you have and choose the right plan.

How long until I see results?

Usually 8 to 12 weeks. A follow-up visit helps adjust your plan if things aren't improving.

Do you prescribe Accutane?

No. Qare does not prescribe isotretinoin (Accutane). If your clinician thinks you need it, they will refer you to a dermatologist.
